We had a last-minute ask to develop a script for Hilton Grand Vacations’ first commercial that would air on NBC and the Golf Channel during the HGV Tournament of Champions. My Copywriting partner and I helped develop the script and the tagline. Not bad for short notice.
HGV was rebranding its offerings to select members and wanted to make sure that the launch got people excited and clearly detailed all the great travel options they could now enjoy. I was tasked with developing landing and subsection copy to help sell the company’s newest offerings.
When HGV acquired Diamond Resorts, they needed to rebrand Diamond’s existing resorts and tell their members about the new destinations available to them. I lead rebranding by creating landing pages for the new destinations and each resort. My team didn’t have a dedicated SEO then, so I leaned on my years of digital copywriting to ensure each page was optimized.
It wasn’t just the continental US that needed new work, as HGV also acquired several international resorts. I had to put on my SEO hat and ensure the copy was warm and welcoming and made members feel like they always felt at home wherever they were in the world.
When I wasn’t writing copy for the Creative Team, I was writing copy for the Social Team. Every month I’d meet with the Social Team to help promote content via Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and all the other social buttons.
